32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’ ”

BECAUSE WE’VE GONE FROM LOST TO FOUND! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!! I don't know about any of you guys, but I find this parable of the prodigal son rather interesting, because it speaks to something that I believe we distort, and that is forgiveness. Real forgiveness. What I mean by this guys, is not forgiveness based on “forgetfulness”, where we allow that same person who's violated us, to continue to violate us some more, but where we have forgiveness with boundaries. Where we have real forgiveness that is based on the genuine repentance of someone who was wronged us, and that's what I believe this parable is about.

After reading this morning's devotional from Sheridan Voysey, in particular the short story he shares from Ernest Hemingway, I thought not only about that short story, but I also deeply thought about these questions from this morning's devotional, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God challenges your heart through them.

How would you feel if you were Paco’s father?

What can hold you back from receiving divine forgiveness?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things God has shown me about this parable, from reading His Word, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you understand just what real forgiveness is. To know especially the forgiveness that you can find in Christ Jesus, where you go from lost to found, and all is truly forgiven. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn this precious and wonderful truth for yourself! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I'm going to start by reaching out to all the prodigals out there, to let them know that you are still loved by God, and that He is waiting with open arms for you to repent and come back to Him. That no matter what you've done, as Corrie TenBoom states so very well, “There It's no pit too deep where God's love is not greater still.”, and that you can find real forgiveness and hope, when you come to Him in genuine repentance of your sin. Sheridan was right on the money, when he said, “Forgiveness lifts a weight off a guilty soul. But like a gift, what's offered to us must be received.” My question to you is, Are you ready to receive that forgiveness?

UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE A VERY RESTFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
