First Time Blasting w/Hoffman Tactical Super Safety at The Shooting Academy – SUPER SAFE Edition!

On April 2, 2025, I took my Radical Firearms AR-15, tricked out with the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety, to Tim’s Shooting Academy in Westfield, Indiana. This 3D-printed wonder resets the trigger crazy fast—legal, I swear! I rolled in, signed the waiver, and set up at Lane 7, ready to be SUPER SAFE. The AR’s 16-inch barrel and red dot made me feel pro-ish, while the Super Safety’s crossbolt screamed DIY glory. First shot? Bang! It worked—smooth, fast, and oh-so-SUPER SAFE. At 10 yards, I popped off 30 rounds of 5.56, grinning as the staff side-eyed my setup. Tim’s is slick—steel traps, great ventilation, and a sci-fi target system. The Super Safety held up, no jams, just fun. Final take? Radical Firearms rocks, the Super Safety’s wild, and I’m SUPER SAFE—until the ATF calls!
