John 7 – What does it mean if one is willing to do the will of the Father? 2021

John 7:17
"If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.

If one is willing to do the will of the Father, in other words, if he is willing to follow the Father's Torah, they will understand whether or not a teaching is of Elohim or of the man teaching it.

Psalm 25:8-12 Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. 9He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. 10All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. 11For Thy name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. 12Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

Psalm 119:101-106 I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Thy word. 102I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances, For Thou Thyself hast taught me. 103How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104From Thy precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. 105Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path. 106I have sworn, and I will confirm it, That I will keep Thy righteous ordinances.

Micah 4:1-2 And it will come about in the last days That the mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, And the peoples will stream to it. 2And many nations will come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD And to the house of the God of Jacob, That He may teach us about His ways And that we may walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the law, Even the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Conversely, if someone is not following the Father's Torah, they will not understand his Word or the teaching that comes from the Father.
