Invaders from Mars (1953)

Directed by William Cameron Menzies. The story follows young David MacLean (Jimmy Hunt), who witnesses a flying saucer landing near his home. Soon after, the adults in his town—including his parents—begin acting strangely, as if under alien control. As David desperately seeks help, he uncovers a terrifying invasion plot beneath the Earth's surface. Known for its eerie dreamlike atmosphere, surreal set design, and paranoid themes, Invaders from Mars remains a landmark of 1950s alien invasion cinema.
