Battle Cry (1955)

Directed by Raoul Walsh, based on the novel by Leon Uris. The film follows a group of young U.S. Marines as they train and prepare for combat in the Pacific during World War II. Led by Major Sam "High Pockets" Huxley (Van Heflin), the soldiers experience not only the brutal realities of war but also personal struggles, including love, loss, and camaraderie.
