In December, as the Assad regime in Syria was overthrown by a group of Islamist rebels led by Ahmed al-Shaara, Israel struck hundreds of Syrian military targets and built temporary bases as a buffer zone between the Jewish State and Syria.

The move was roundly condemned in the Canadian news media. But will the Canadian news media apologize for its hastiness in condemning Israel, or will it continue to do so in the future once again?
