Busan, the last bastion of liberal democracy in Korea, is rising again.

These are the remarks of Park Jun-hyuk, a graduate of Pusan National University, who participated in the Declaration of the State of the Union against the Impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol of Pusan National University on Feb. 24, 2025. In the Korean War, the North Korean military occupied all areas of the Korean Peninsula except Busan, and as a prop in Busan, they were able to lay the groundwork for the reversal. There is a movement to protect liberal democracy in Busan again. (President Yoon's declaration of martial law on Dec. 3, 2024, revealed the reality of the Democratic Party, which committed a more terrible act than martial law, and many students appeared in the Declaration of the State of the Union against the Impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is being illegally arrested and tried for impeachment.)
