Israel issues new evacuation order in Gaza | BBC News

Israel has issued a new evacuation order for southern Gaza.

It’s the biggest order since Israel relaunched its offensive in the Palestinian territory earlier this month.

Evacuation orders now apply to about a fifth of Gaza, according Israeli army radio.

The Hamas-run health ministry said more than a thousand people have now been killed in the territory since Israel resumed its strikes.
