Delhi: Two-Year-Old Girl Run Over by Underage Driver

A tragic accident occurred in Delhi’s Ram Nagar during Eid celebrations, where a two-year-old girl was fatally run over by a car driven by a 15-year-old boy. The incident took place around 6:15 PM when the toddler was playing near her home.

CCTV footage shows the Hyundai Venue moving slowly, briefly stopping, and then continuing forward, running over the child. The driver, reportedly unaware of her presence, left bystanders in shock. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Delhi Police confirmed that the vehicle belonged to the victim’s neighbor, whose underage son was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. A case has been registered under sections related to rash driving and causing death due to negligence (Sections 281/106(1) BNS), and further investigations are underway.
