This is the first noble truth. This is where the Buddha started from. He told us the honest truth. Now, this is not the only noble truth, but as the first one, it is the basis. It tells us that we have work to do, that our situation needs to be seen clearly, and this is actually to inspire us. Let us know that we can see clearly how things are, and then address the situation.
