Press Conference Announcing Conservative Secretary of State 
Candidate to be Held at Arizona Capitol

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — On the heels of failed Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes signaling that he intends to run for a second disastrous term, the Arizona Freedom Caucus and fellow legislative Republicans have doubled down on their resolve to deny him re-election.

Members of the media are invited to join Senator Jake Hoffman, members of the Arizona Freedom Caucus and voters for a press conference announcing the conservative candidate for Secretary of State that will ensure a Fontes defeat in November of 2026.

With voter confidence at historic lows, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors denying the duly elected County Recorder the resources and authority to deliver on the mandate he was given by the voters, and amidst the hyper politicization of the Secretary of State’s office under Adrian Fontes, it is time to return the Secretary of State’s office to one that is exclusively focused on running transparent, secure, honest, and lawful elections.
