Bradley Special: a Winnie and Walt Dette 1930’s dry fly pattern

Hook: #10 - 16 fine wire
Thread: white waxed to tan
Tail: red cock hackles
Body: red squirrel back twisted into two strands of red silk
Wing: mallard flank
Hackle: red cock

Head cement recipe:
Goop
Xylene (epoxy thinnner)

Instructions:
Fill a quart jar half full with Xylene
Squeeze a tube of Goop into the Xylene
Shake until the Goop is dissolved; add Xylene to desired consistency

Apply with a pin or needle dipped in the liquid
