Myanmar earthquake kills over 140 people, leaves 100s missing as it shakes Southeast Asia

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has rocked Southeast Asia, with its epicentre located more than 900 km from Myanmar. The tremors were felt across the region. Myanmar’s military reported that over 140 people have died in three cities, while at least nine more were killed in Thailand. Hundreds remain missing.
