The EXP-EMG-5W-2L Explosion Proof Emergency Light with back up emergency battery from Larson Electronics is rated Class 1 Division 1 Class 2 Division I & 2 and is an ideal emergency lighting solution for hazardous locations where failsafe lighting reliability is a must.

The EXP-EMG-5W-2L is an ideal solution for operators who wish to ensure their hazardous workspaces employ the most effective and reliable safety lighting options available. Under normal conditions this emergency lamp uses normal external power to illuminate its two 5 watt LED lamps with 450 lumens per lamp. In the case of power outages or in any situation where power is interrupted, this unit automatically switches to a battery backup which will power the unit for 3 hours or until power is restored. Once power is restored a built in charger will return the unit to a fully charged state within acceptable UL time limits.
