Stand Fast in the Faith

Your faith is not increased by just asking alone but by serving and humbling yourself. Consider Luke 17:5-10 as the apostles ask the Lord to increase their faith. Jesus answered by telling them a parable of a servant doing his reasonable service. And so in an equal measure if you want to feel closer to God and have more faith, then seek the God and serve him by his will to increase your faith.
- James 4:8 KJV Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
