Unipar Online UPS: Parallel Redundancy Feature, High Efficiency, New Unity Power Factor and Remote Monitoring

This is Unipar’s latest, high tech product – a 600kVA Online UPS. Made by connecting, two units of 300kVAs in parallel. Each 300kVA is made, by connecting 3 modules of 100kVAs in parallel, within. All, with the fully in house developed, parallel redundant technology, of Unipar.
It is a Modular UPS, a scalable power solution, that is meticulously engineered, with a modular design. This system comprises six robust modules, each rated at 100 kVA, with unparalleled flexibility, and scalability, to meet both consumer and manufacturing needs. Users can tailor system capacity, and also expand effortlessly, by paralleling additional modules, as required, ensuring operational efficiency at partial loads.
Each module houses a main control card, responsible for generating three-phase PWM signals, executing feedback control functions, interfacing with the IGBT Rectifier and Touchscreen Graphic Display, and managing load sharing, with the PRS data box, for harmonious operation across multiple modules
The IGBT Rectifier section is controlled by an advanced DSP controller. It senses the waveforms of Grid voltage and current with frequency and the Inverter DC unlike conventional rectifiers. Most prominent aspect of this rectifier is that it supplies cleanest power by reducing current harmonics to a very low percentage and by maintaining close to unity power factor.
Each unit is equipped with a temperature sensing card, that monitors and displays the temperature, of every heatsink and transformer. In the event of overheating, the system issues a warning and initiates a shutdown to ensure safety and longevity.
The inverter boasts of a user-friendly 7-inch multi-colour touch display, offering comprehensive visibility into all input, output, and internal parameters. Enhanced user interaction is facilitated through intuitive dials for parameter adjustments.
The PRS data box is the cornerstone of our system, orchestrating load sharing, and issuing master-slave commands, to ensure seamless power distribution among modules. An in-built Wi-Fi modem transmits all operational data to the cloud, where users can access and analyze their system’s performance, through our data logger website.
The use of DC fans, in high-temperature areas, guarantees extended durability, compared to standard fans. With the industrial sector in mind, each component is selected for its quality and longevity. The design anticipates a very high lifespan, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and reliable power solutions.
