Known as The Queen of Infomercials, Susan sold tens of thousands of workout tapes, merchandise, etc. breaking QVC’s record of the number of units sold in one show. Susan's also a three-time NY Times Best Selling author and seven-time Platinum Time Warner Video selling personality. She had her own talk show, The Susan Powter Show, in 1994 and was a regular guest on countless late night and daytime talk shows. She became a cultural icon and was spoofed by SNL and named one of PEOPLE's 25 Most Intriguing People of 1993.
However, all that changed with a bankruptcy case, multiple lawsuits with business partner Jerry Frankel and her break up with management leaving her penniless and alone. In 2015, she relocated to Las Vegas and began driving Uber Eats to survive.
