RR beat CSK by 6 runs in the 11th match of IPL-25.

The 11th Match of Men’s Tata IPL-2025 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings at Barsapara Cricket Stadium Guwahati on 30th March, 2025. In this match Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets. In this match Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Rajasthan Royals while batting first scored 182 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and gave target of 183 runs to Chennai Super Kings to win. In reply Chennai Super Kings scored 176 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 6 runs.
Rajasthan Royals started badly and lost the early wicket at the score of 4 runs on the third ball of the match. Yashasvi Jaiswal was first to go out caught by Ashwin of the bowling of Khaleel Ahmed in the very first over of the match and scored only 4 runs.
Sanju Samson was second to go out caught by Rachin Ravindra of the bowling of Noor Ahmad after scoring 20 runs from 16 balls hitting 1 four and 1 six. Nitish Rana played a gem of innings of 81 runs from 36 balls hitting 10 fours and 5 sixes. Dhruv Jurel made 3 runs and Wanindu Hasaranga contributed 4 runs.
Riyan Parag was bold by Matheesha Pathirana after scoring 37 runs from 28 balls hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes. Jofra Archer went without scoring and Shimron Hetmyer contributed 19 runs from 16 balls hitting1 four and 1 six.
Two wickets each were taken by Khaleel Ahmed,Noor Ahmad and Matheesha Pathirana. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravi Chandran Ashwin took one wicket each. RR scored 182 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
In reply CSK scored 146 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 50 runs. CSK started very poorly and lost the wicket of Rachin Ravindra in the very first over caught by Dhruv Jurel of the bowling of Jofra Archer and went back without scoring.
Rahul Tripathi was second to go out caught by Hetmyer of the bowing of Wanindu Hasaranga scoring 23 runs from 19 balls hitting 3 fours and 1 six.Then Wanindu Hasaranga removed Shivam Dubey caught brilliantly by Riyan Parag after scoring 18 runs from 10 balls hitting 1 four and 2 sixes.
Vijay Shankar was bold by Wanindu Hasaranga and he contributed only 9 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad top scored with 63 runs from 44 balls hitting 7 fours and 1 six and was caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal of the bowling of Wanindu Hasaranga.
MS Dhoni was out in the last over of the match caught by Hetmyer of the bowling of Sandeep Sharma and scored 16 runs from 11 balls hitting 1 four and 1 six.
Ravindra Jadeja remained not out on 32 runs from 22 balls hitting 2 fours and 1 six and Jamie Overton remained not out on 9 runs.
RR won the match by 6 runs.Nitish Rana was adjudged the Player of the Match.
