Genesis 21 is a chapter of God’s faithfulness and the fulfillment of His promise! Isaac is finally born to Abraham and Sarah in their old age, bringing joy and laughter. However, tensions rise between Sarah and Hagar, leading to Hagar and Ishmael being sent away. But God does not abandon Ishmael—He provides for him and promises to make him into a great nation. The chapter ends with Abraham and Abimelech making a peace treaty at Beersheba.
