PokeWilds: episode 3, base building

PokeWilds is a freeware fangame that's not an official Pokémon product. Don't complain about the update taking too long in the Discord channel.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but one of my base building strategies is to make walls of fence doors around my base to keep out wandering Pokémon in the overworld. Sometimes an overworld Pokémon from outside my base might aggro me and I run back into the safety of my base, but if there's no wall of gates, that aggro Pokémon could camp outside my house and attack repeatedly. That's how my very first playthrough of this game started.

Teleport beacons are very important for setting up fast travel locations at important locations throughout the island: the research lab for restoring fossils, graveyards for digging up dusk stones, the volcano for farming ashen soil, next to every base I build, and any other landmarks that might be out there.
