Massive Destruction of Ukrainian Equipment in the Kursk Region: A Growing Crisis for Ukraine

The situation in the Kursk region is deteriorating rapidly for Ukraine, with Ukrainian Armed Forces militants from “Reconnaissance Noem” reporting a sharp increase in Russian FPV drone attacks.

Since January 5, approximately a dozen “adequate crews” of FPV drones have been deployed by Russia, heavily targeting Ukrainian logistics routes.

This is causing severe disruptions in the delivery of ammunition and personnel rotations, with significant losses to transport and infantry support.

Despite not experiencing many casualties, Ukrainian forces are facing immense logistical challenges, with destroyed transport vehicles leaving many units immobilized.

According to forecasts from those directly involved in the operation, if the situation doesn’t improve within weeks, the consequences could be dire.

Russia has also advanced in the region, regaining several villages and getting closer to the Sudzha highway, tightening their control and escalating the pressure on Ukrainian forces.
