On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at around 7:55 a.m., in the 1000 block of Cabana Circle in Memphis, Tennessee, a violent confrontation left a tow truck driver—known as a repo man—injured and led to the arrest of two suspects. The repo man was attempting to repossess a 2011 Ford Fusion when the incident occurred. As he worked beneath the vehicle, hooking it to his tow truck, a woman identified as 27-year-old Brandi Revels shouted to 34-year-old Nicholas Wray to “hurry up.” Moments later, Wray climbed into the car, started the engine, and reversed, running over the repo man’s head and torso. The victim sustained head abrasions and arm pain but survived, though he required shaking to remain conscious at the scene. Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers quickly responded, ensuring the injured man was transported to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.

Following the assault, the MPD launched an investigation, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Revels on Thursday, March 27, 2025. The next day, Friday, March 28, Crump Station Task Force officers arrested her at University Gardens Manor, where they also apprehended Wray, identified as the primary assailant. Both were charged with aggravated assault, and the Ford Fusion was located in the 900 block of Oakmont Place and towed to a city lot.
