Mistakes were made but practice makes perfect.
I have 3 reasons for learning how to towel Sunny Boy properly without either one of us getting hurt.
1. Emergency situations
2. Conditioning his beak & nails
3. Routine beak & nail trims
I personally recommend that anyone who has parrots learn how to towel and restrain properly in case of emergency.

I decided to start recording videos like this in slow motion so that it is easier for people to learn. And so I can rewatch it and see the mistakes that I may have made. There aren't any slow motion videos on YouTube that I am aware of and on top of that there are only two videos that I have found, if I remember correctly.
We are getting closer to needing Sunny's beak and nails trimmed so practicing is a big priority for us right now.
Keep in mind that I am only practicing during bath days. On bath day both him and Luka get their beak and nails conditioned with ORGANIC coconut oil.
