Post-Conditioning Back & Accessories
First up, for 1-stop shopping I did 5x sets of Bi-Lateral Hammer Strength Horizontal Rows. I did these with a controlled eccentric and explosive concentric for as much practical strength transfer to combat sport as possible simulating periods of struggle punctuated with brief aggression. These were in the 10+ rep range
Next, I did Pull-ups but with some variation. I did Strict, Cambered Fat-Bar Pull-ups. Same tempo here as with the rows, controlling the eccentric and exploding upward forcefully. I did 10x sets total to train work capacity/strength endurance. When you’re in the 145-155lb range, it’s a cardinal sin to fatigue just moving your body around
Last, for the second time this week I did 5x sets of Lifefitness Machine Lateral Raises. Robust side delts are important for both form and function as they assist to stabilize just about everything you do with your upper body
Only 3x total exercises but 20x total sets for a full workout
