Blessors of Israel Podcast Episode 78: Mars Hill and the Power of Jesus Christ's Resurrection

At Mars Hill in Athens, Greece, the Apostle Paul declared to the leading philosophers of his day that “God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

This is the Christian Gospel, that Jesus Christ died and was buried, according to the Scriptures, to pay the penalty for our sin, and that He was resurrected from the dead on the third day, according to the Scriptures, so that all who confess their sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ may receive the gracious gift of eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

During this episode of the Blessors of Israel Podcast, Dr. Matthew Dodd visits Mars Hill, the very location where Paul delivered his anointed proclamation concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and discusses the significance of Paul’s message.
