Navigating the ups and downs of life is difficult – especially when you come from a family that already has a history of mental health struggles and substance abuse.

Mariel Hemingway is an actress, mental health advocate, Emmy-nominated documentary producer, and author.

She is known for her work in the documentary Running from Crazy, which she co-produced with Oprah, as well as her deeply moving memoir, Out Came the Sun.
