Rob Van Dam just said what we’ve all been thinking. AEW’s “hardcore” obsession is a total disaster.

They keep booking suplexes onto planks of wood with spikes, exploding deathmatches, and glass spots like it’s 1997. Guess what? It’s 2025. That stuff doesn’t sell anymore.

RVD said it best—you’re not drawing ratings, you’re just hurting yourselves. And it’s true. AEW is desperate for attention, so they’re putting guys through fluorescent lights and calling it storytelling. It’s not. It’s lazy.

People want drama, stakes, stars—not blood for the sake of blood. ECW had a reason. AEW just has poor booking.

RVD gets it. AEW doesn’t.
