JOHN 15- THE FRUIT OF THE VINE

Branches need nourishment to produce fruit. And only by being connected to the vine will they get the nourishment they need. In this Old Covenant parable the branches may or may not produce fruit. But, in the New Covenant the reason a branch is in the vine is because they are already bearing fruit.
