The Quran in Surah 2:223 says wives are like fields for men to plow, making women seem like property that men control. This idea is even supported by other Islamic teachings that say women are less intelligent and religious than men, claiming most people in hell are women. This shows how Islam puts women down and treats them as inferior.

But the Bible shows women are equal and valuable. Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." - This verse shows both men and women are created in God’s image, with equal worth.

Ephesians 5:25 says, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." - It commands men to love their wives with real, sacrificial love.
Colossians 3:19 says, "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them." - This teaches kindness and gentleness toward women.

Unlike the Quran’s approval of wife-beating in Surah 4:34, the Bible tells men to honor and love their wives, not abuse them.
