Galatians 2:1-10

Judaizers had slipped in to spy out and steal the liberty that the Galatian believers had found in Christ. The apostle Paul was not about to let that happen. God revealed the need to go and speak with the leaders of the newly birthed church in Jerusalem, so Paul set out to meet with James, Peter and John and other elders. Paul was concerned that any compromise in the gospel of grace would hinder future outreach as well as harm those who had already received this gospel. If that were the case, he felt he would have been working for nothing. That would not be the case! The leaders in Jerusalem unanimously agreed that the gospel of grace was the true gospel.
