8 And He having come down from the mountain, great crowds – they followed Him. 2 And, you behold! A leper having come, he worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, if you desire, you can cleanse me.” 3 And having outstretched the hand, Jesus – He touched him, saying, “I desire. You be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy, it was cleansed. 4 And Jesus, He says to him, “You see you tell none, but you go, you show yourself to the priest, and you present the gift that Moses, he commanded, for a testimony to them.”

5 And Jesus, having entered into Capernaum, a centurion, he came to Him, invoking Him. 6 And saying, ‘Lord, my servant, he has been cast in the house, paralyzed, tormenting terribly.’

7 And Jesus, He says to him, “I, having come, I will heal him.”

8 And, the centurion, having answered, he said, “Lord, I am not adequate that You should enter under my roof. But only You say a word, and my servant, he will be cured.” 9 For I also, I am a man under authority, having under me soldiers. And I say to this, “You go,” and he goes. And to another, “You come,” and he comes. And to my slave, “You do this,” and he does.

10 And Jesus, having heard, He wondered, and He said to those following, “Amen! I say to you, not in Israel I have found faith so vast as this. 11 And I say to you that many from east and west, they will arrive, and they will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens. 12 And the sons of the kingdom, they will be ejected into the darkness, the outer. There, it will be the lamentation and the gnash of the teeth.” 13 And Jesus, He said to the centurion, “And you, withdraw! As you believed, it became to you.” And his servant, he was cured in that hour.

14 And Jesus, having come, into the house of Peter, He saw the mother-in-law of him, having been cast and fevering. 15 And He touched her hand, and it left her, the fever, and she arose, and she ministered to them. 16 And having become evening, they presented to Him many demon-possessings, and He ejected the spirits – a word. And all those being sickly, He healed. 17 That it might be fulfilled, the ‘having been spoken’ through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “Himself, our infirmities – He took, and these diseases – He bore.”

18 And Jesus, having seen many crowds around Him, He ordered to depart to the other side. 19 And having come, one scribe, he said to Him, “I will follow You wherever, if You may go.” 20 And, Jesus, He says to him, “The foxes, they have burrows, and the birds of the sky encampings, and the Son of Man, He has not where the head He might recline.”

21 And another – of His disciples – said to Him, “Lord, You permit me first to go and inter my father.” 22 And Jesus, He said to him, “You follow Me, and you leave the dead to inter the dead of themselves.”

23 And He, having in-stepped into the boat, His disciples, they followed Him. 24 And, you behold! A great gale, it arose in the sea, so too the boat being swamped under the waves, and Himself, He slept. 25 And His disciples having come to Him, they aroused Him saying, “Lord, You save us! We perish!” 26 And He says to them, “Why you are timorous, little-faithed?” Then having arisen, He admonished the winds and the sea. And it was great calm. 27 And the men, they wondered, saying, “What kind, He is – this – that even the winds and the sea, they obey Him?”

28 And He, having come into the beyond, into the country of the Gergesenes, two demon-possessings, they met Him, coming out from the tombs – exceedingly dangerous – so too, not anyone capacitate to pass through that way. 29 And, you behold! They croaked, saying, “What – us and You – Jesus, Son of God. You came here to us before torment time?”

30 And it is, far from them, a sounder of many pigs feeding. 31 And the demon, they invoked Him, saying, “If You eject us, You permit us to go into the sounder, the pigs.”

32 And He said to them, ‘You withdraw!’ And having gone out, they went into the sounder of pigs. And, you behold! They dashed, all the sounder of pigs, down the precipice into the sea, and they died in the waters.

33 And those feeding [the pigs], they fled. And having gone into the city, they reported all – even the ‘of those demon-possessings.’ 34 And, you behold! All the city, it went out to the Jesus meeting. And having seen Him, they begged that He might depart from their borders.
