What We Eat When We're Running Out of Food Onboard... (Sailing La Vagabonde) Ep. 51

It hadn't happened yet, in the whole 2 years we have been sailing around the world BUT we had finally ran La Vagabonde completely out of food (apart from a few odd things we found scattered around in some dark and very scary places). Unfortunately, we had missed the ship in Nuku Hiva to stock up before leaving to the Tuamotus, and of course the only supermarket on the island of Raroia hadn’t had a ship of supplies come for the past 3 weeks…. so the no food situation quickly became a problem. We managed to catch a few fish, but after 2 weeks of exploring this magical island, we had to set sail to the main island of the bunch - Fakarava, where we could hopefully get some fresh fruit and veg. (currently typing this whilst eating a can of mushy peas and carrots…. HELP ME!!). Made with love, Elayna.
