Mental Health Of Younger People :Another Contrived Crisis?

Niall McCrae presents research showing that there is no crisis in younger people's mental health, despite the media narrative. Smartphone use may be criticised, but for teenagers being on their devices is the norm.

Mental health is normative- sufferers are those who don't fit in - not those following norms. Niall concludes that psychological distress is exaggerated and exploited by the government, to justify control such as the Online Safety Act.

Dr. Niall McCrae is a former senior lecturer at King’s College London with an extensive academic background, having authored six books and nearly a hundred academic papers. He is also an active writer for The Light newspaper and other social commentary platforms. His work often focuses on social, political, and health-related issues.
