Super Monaco GP (Gen - 1990) playthrough, part 1/8 - season 1 rounds 1-3 and full game opening

Playing through the World Championship mode, which has you run through the 16 race F1 season. The game's gimmick is that you challenge a racer, a "rival", from another team and if you finish 2 consecutive races ahead of your rival, you'll be offered a position on your rival's team. This is the only way to "upgrade" your car. If you win the title, a new driver (who is supposed to be Ayrton Senna) appears and you have to run, and win, another season to get the ending.

I switched to playing on a Retro Freak, which plays cartridge and card games for around a dozen consoles, due to the ridiculous 64-character long password. One downside of the Retro Freak is that when you "reset" the console, it acts like a power off and then on. With a reset on an actual Genesis, for this game, if you had entered a password, it retains that password.
