This Whole Situation Is Really Stupid

The United States Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, is in some hot water after leaks of “war plans” in Yemen were released by an Atlantic journalist who was mistakenly invited to a group chat by Hegseth where he sent information on the bombing of the Houthis in Yemen to Trump officials. The action in itself was irresponsible, but why on earth are we getting involved in Middle Eastern affairs in the first place?
