No location in Miami better symbolizes the anti-Castro cabal than the Fontainebleau Hotel - site of at least three assassination-planning meetings among the parties. It's where the S Force that later killed Kennedy was created. Unfortunately for Johnny Roselli, it's also close to Dumfoundling Bay - site of Roselli's inglorious end. Opa-locka Airport served an important purpose during the anti-Castro heyday in Miami, operating as a departure point for the Cuban exile paramilitaries on their way to Guatemala for more training and a holding place for the CIA-backed provisional government waiting to take over in Cuba after the Bay of Pigs invasion. And lastly, just like there was no city more important to the anti-Castro (and anti-Kennedy) cabal than Miami, there is not a more important figure to the anti-Castro (and anti-Kennedy) cabal than Meyer Lansky. Small wonder that he made his home(s) there.
