Please note, from someone who was on SNAP in the past. I can understand why people make unhealthy choices with SNAP benefits. We didn't get much for benefits so we had to purchase what was cheap and get the most of. Unfortunately, what was healthy was not cheap. My husband and I have been suffering from those unhealthy choices. Thankfully I was working when my kids were growing up and we were able to make better choices.
