Droopy inherits a fortune, but the will says that if he meets an untimely death all the money will go to Spike, who spends the entire film trying to make this happen.
Wags to Riches is a 1949 Droopy cartoon directed by Tex Avery. It was originally released theatrically on August 13, 1949 by MGM.

Trivia:
This is the first film where Spike appears as Droopy’s rival.
This is the first film to use the Timber falling gag, where Spike cuts the Timber and shout “Timber” before it falls back to him.
