Week 9 Readings of our 2025 Chronological Bible-in-a-Year Reading Challenge have us heading into Deuteronomy—the fifth and final book of Moses.

The Book of Deuteronomy focusses on Moses' final words to the 'Second Generation' of Israelites, those who survived the 40-year wilderness wanderings, just prior to their entering the Promised Land. While Moses' primary focus is on reminding God's people of the stories of their recent past, and the stipulations of their covenant, these chapters also contain a number of key predictions concerning their future.

In this video, Chad highlights 3 of these prophetic promises, each of which play a significant role in the Bible's Big Story moving forward—a Future Place, a Future King, and a Future Prophet. Amongst all the reminding, recalling, restating, reiterating, retelling, reflecting, reemphasising and remembering which takes place in these chapters ... be sure not to miss these powerful prophetic predictions as Moses prepares Israel for their future in the Promised Land!
