South Africa's vast land mass makes centralized governance ineffective. When comparing its size to Europe, multiple countries—each with their own governments—fit within South Africa’s borders. This highlights a fundamental issue: decision-making is best handled at a local level. Small nations govern effectively because they can mobilize resources efficiently. South Africa, however, is too large for a single centralized system to work. A decentralized model, where local communities have autonomy, is the key to a better future.
