Cheeky and I took a stroll around Pagatpat, Cagayan de Oro this afternoon, and she wanted to pass by her old preschool—so, of course, we did! As we stood outside reminiscing, a group of very friendly and curious school kids gathered around, eager to chat.

Being a foreigner in the Philippines means you’ll always stand out, and Filipinos are naturally friendly and curious, so expect a lot of excitement when walking through local neighborhoods. These kids were no exception! They asked questions, shared stories, and gave us the warmest welcome.
