Suffering from ENS at night sleep. Exposing the side effects of turbinate surgery in the long term
A device to restrict the nostril airflow https://rumble.com/v6qn75y-empty-nose-syndrome-device-that-may-help-restricting-the-airflow-for-ens.html
It may be possible that persons which had Transsphenoidal surgery to remove pituitary gland tumors/adenoma will develop ENS.
People may have a broken nose and not be aware and undergo a turbinectomy (turbinate surgery) instead.

More side effects of the ENS condition see this playlist https://rumble.com/playlists/ICiDuxm-d-A
- sudden severe dehydration : pinch your hand skin (skin turgor: elasticity test)
- finger nail clubbing: nails grown curved
- blood circulation stops on the tip of the fingers in cold weather, fingers get completely white (Raynaud's phenomenon)
- heart pounding after meal (not sure the reason for this, drinking 2 cups of water before meal helps)
- high blood pressure at night after eating high vitamin C fruits or high oxalate nuts for a while
- eyes get very sensitive to bright white light such as computer or cell phone screens. This is stronger after dusk
- teeth hurt after walking outside, drink a full glass of water prior to going outside
- strong and continuous heart pumping in the chest when waking up at night. this beating may affect tiny blood vessels inside eyes, tip of fingers, teeth, etc, causing the issues above.
- very 'clear' dreams
- panic attack at night when waking up
- very affected night sleep. I usually wake up every time I turn in my bed, and often I can only sleep 3-4 hours at a time. this is very probable to affect your professional life
- when waking up at night, I feel only my very upper part of the lungs are getting air, like only the chest near my shoulders is inflating
- I sleep with a dim light to prevent from having a too deep sleep which lowers the heart rate and aggravates nostril dryness
- sudden tiredness when exercising, suddenly get short of breath
- poor night sleep is also a cause for diabetes. pay attention to your reaction to sugar
- after 13 years of this condition, my lungs seem to be affected. I get very quickly dehydrated when walking outside so I need to drink water every 30 min or so or it will badly affect nostril dryness the next night. I also must drink water every hour at night when I turn in my bed
- to prevent constipation due to the diet I eat lettuce with meals
- my sleep was deeply affected in the past 10-12 years. I usually wake up every hour or so when I turn in my bed and also have insomnia after 3-4 hours of sleep. I believe this lack of sleep quality also affected perhaps my intellectual faculties as I often times make typing mistakes at my computer and have very poor short term memory - such as I want to do something and 10 seconds later I forget completely about it.
- I would like to say that poor sleep at night does also cause insulin resistance which results in high blood sugar, a condition that can cause diabetes

On Humidity/Moisture inside nostrils Moisture/humidity is created by the thick mucosa which covers the turbinates. This mucosa has a dense web of tiny blood arteries which bring fluid at the surface of the mucosa, which then humidifies the inhaled air. It works like a home humidifier. If this mucosa is cut or damaged by the turbinectomy procedure, the tiny blood vessels get sectioned and can no longer bring enough fluid to the mucosa. I actually use a home humidifier with a hose and breathing mask when I stay near the stove (backing) and the air is very warm and dry. It helps me inhaling more humid air https://youtu.be/zjz6Yym2Jqc
