"Russia, Russia" files will be declassified
George Papadopoulos: "President Trump attempted to get these files out during the final days of his first administration. But, of course, obstructionists within the first administration, people who were very disloyal to him, and, at the end of the day, subverting the will of the American people, prevented these files from coming out, especially right before the 2020 election, which I believe, of course, would have had a major impact on the last election.
Moving forward now in the current era, the Trump administration is filled with loyalists, constitutionalists, and patriotic Americans who want to uphold the Constitution and safeguard American liberties and security. And people like Kash Patel at the head of the FBI, Deputy Director Dan Bongino—these people actually became famous for their knowledge and research on Crossfire Hurricane, elements of my story, and other stories, including those of General Flynn, Roger Stone, and President Trump, and exactly what happened in Crossfire Hurricane. So I think what the American people are finally going to see is who was pulling the strings, how high up they went, and what the true motivations were. Because I can tell you something, and all of your viewers, and I believe I will be proven right—this was not a spontaneous, justified investigation the way the fake news media propagated to millions of people in the United States."
The accusations of collusion between Donald Trump and Russia emerged during the 2016 presidential campaign, alleging that his team conspired with the Russian government to influence the U.S. elections. These accusations were based on alleged Russian interference, including the hacking of Democratic Party emails and a disinformation campaign on social media.
The most prominent investigation was led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who, after nearly two years of inquiries, multiple subpoenas, and millions of dollars spent, found no conclusive evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia. His report, released in 2019, concluded that there was insufficient evidence to charge the then-president or his campaign with conspiring with Russia.
Despite this, the scandal politically impacted Trump and was used by his opponents to question his legitimacy. Later investigations revealed that key evidence, such as the infamous "Steele dossier," was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and contained unverified information. Over time, the collusion narrative collapsed due to a lack of real evidence, and many came to see it as a political operation aimed at undermining Trump’s presidency.
