But before he can get answers, Secare reaches out again, only to be captured. His alien biology proves dangerous when paramedics try to treat him—his body literally emits poison when punctured. The guy escapes, but his time runs out when the Crew Cut Man tracks him down, leading to one of the most intense abductions in the show so far—Mulder himself is taken!

THE TRADE—AND A SHOCKING LOSSNatz: This is where things get really heartbreaking. And with that, we lose one of the show’s most mysterious and compelling characters. R.I.P., Deep Throat—you tried to reveal the truth, and you paid the ultimate price.
