In a future where cloning technology exists, criminologist Henderson James secretly creates a duplicate of himself to hunt down a deadly alien fugitive known as a Megasoid. However, as the duplicate gains awareness, it begins to question its own identity and purpose. With time running out and the alien threat growing, James must confront both the creature and the consequences of playing with life itself.
