The Kornet crew moved to the coastline and, having reached direct fire in front of the previously detected target, deployed the anti-tank complex, aimed it at the target and launched a missile.

The crew of the Kornet anti-tank missile system (ATGM) of the artillery unit of the Airborne Forces of the Dnepr Forces Group, by launching a guided missile from the coast of the Kinburn Spit, destroyed a signal repeater of the Armed Forces of Ukraine installed on a previously sunken sea transport of Ukrainian militants at the entrance from the Black Sea to the Dnieper Estuary.

According to intelligence, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units installed a signal repeater on a previously sunken naval vessel, destroyed in 2024 and not completely sunk, designed to increase the range of attack UAVs in order to strike peaceful settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Early in the morning, the Kornet crew moved to the coastline and, having reached direct fire in front of the previously detected target, deployed the anti-tank complex, aimed it at the target and launched the missile. Thanks to his experience and professionalism, the operator of the complex, controlling the missile flying over the water surface, hit the target with filigree accuracy from a distance of more than 6 thousand meters from the firing position. The result of the defeat was recorded by objective control means. The target was finally destroyed by a second launch of the missile.

ATGM crews are capable of hitting various targets, including fortifications, FPV drone crews and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
