Exodus 12 – The blood on the doorpost saves the family from losing their firstborn. 2017

Exo 12:7
'Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.

It is the blood on the doorpost that will actually save the family from losing their firstborn. The only reason the people put the blood on the doorpost was out of faithfulness. They believed the words of Eolhim and they acted upon them. They had faith(fulness), but their faith(fulness) without works would mean death. If we truly have faithfulness, it is submissive, humble, and obedient to the Torah.
