Defending Imminence - Reclaiming Rapture Imminence From Popular Pre-Trib Errors

In this video we will examine a concerning shift that’s been happening in the recent decades within Bible prophecy circles that acknowledge a pretribulation Rapture – as I of course do. It is a shift away from the biblical and traditional view of the imminence of the pre-trib Rapture, which has always understood it according to the plain, normative, meaning – the actual English definition of the word. Which is that nothing else is required to happen first in order for us to expect the Rapture; it’s the biblical teaching that the Rapture has no preconditions, no prerequisites from our current standpoint in time. There’s a departure from this normal understanding and a movement instead towards a redefining of imminence to include signs, sensationalism, and predictability. We will discuss the common claims of those pushing these alternate views.
