The story of proposing to Selena Gomez in the scariest week of Blanco's life

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got engaged in December 2024, but now they have revealed in a TV interview that this courtship was not that easy.

Blanco, a 37-year-old music producer, said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that the week he was going to propose to Gomez was the scariest week of his life.

The night before the proposal, Gomez was worried about Blanco's unusual behavior. He usually shared everything with her, but on the eve of the proposal, he had tried to hide the story and lied badly.

Blanco asked Gomez to come to the stage to film their joint album Said I Love You First, but Gomez, who was tired and confused, decided to cancel the program until the last minute. "When I woke up in the morning, I didn't know where we were going and why I was really tired and a little grumpy," he says

Finally, the proposal was made, and Gomez posted a photo of her marquise ring on Instagram and wrote: "From now on forever."
