Tower of London (1939)

Directed by Rowland V. Lee and starring Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, and Vincent Price. The film dramatizes the ruthless rise of Richard III (Rathbone) as he schemes and murders his way to the English throne. Aiding him in his sinister quest is his sadistic executioner (Karloff), who carries out his master’s deadly orders.
